The Colleyville Police Department Citizens on Patrol (COP) program supports the crime prevention and community policing efforts of the Colleyville Police Department by actively patrolling their community and assisting in police operations. For well over 10 years, they have worked with the Department volunteering their time to enhance the safety of the City of Colleyville.

 

Colleyville residents, employees and business owners who have successfully completed the Citizens’ Police Academy, and have completed the COP training and requirements may become a member of the Citizens on Patrol.

 

COPs coordinate closely with the department by patrolling, working City events, and handling other assignments to provide additional manpower, and extra eyes and ears.
